Professional licenses and certifications are verified upon hiring and annually thereafter.

Criminal Background Check
Texas Health and Human Services compliant background screening.

Driver & Insurance Verification
Driving records and insurance coverage are verified.

Drug Screening
Pre-employment drug testing plus random screenings.

Office of Inspector General Check
Verification that applicants are not listed on care exclusion databases.

Adverse Action Check
Review of any previous disciplinary or unfavorable actions.

National Sex Offender Registry Check
Comprehensive national screening.

Reference Checks
Multiple professional and personal references are verified.

Caregiver Training
Every caregiver must have:
- Minimum 1 year of professional caregiving experience
- Successful completion of onboarding training
- Ongoing annual education

- Care Plan Implementation
- HIPAA & Confidentiality
- Detecting Illness
- Burn & Scald Prevention
All caregivers are:
- Employees (never contractors)
